WinCenter is a tiny, handy utility that centers the
top-most window on your screen. It's the ideal tool for users who want
to perfectly center some or all of their windows.
INSTALLING WINCENTER
Here's how to install WinCenter and set it up for use.
Download the WC1.ZIP file using the hyperlink at the top of
this page. Save the download in a folder that you will
remember and know how to find.
Open the folder you saved the WC1.ZIP file in.
Use your favorite unzipping utility to extract the ZIP
file contents. Put the ZIP file contents into any folder on your hard
drive.
Create a shortcut to the WinCenter.exe file (right-click
the WinCenter.exe file, then click Create Shortcut).
Move the shortcut to your Desktop (right-click the
shortcut, click Cut, then right-click your Desktop, and click Paste).
Choose the hot-key you will use to invoke WinCenter. To do
this, right-click the shortcut, then click Properties. Click the
Shortcut tab if it's not already open. In the Shortcut Key box, type
the key combination you want to use to invoke WinCenter.
Click the OK button.
WinCenter is now installed and ready for use.
USING WINCENTER
WinCenter is a snap to use. Just press the hot-key you
assigned whenever a window needs to be centered. WinCenter will
instantly reposition the window. Note that WinCenter unloads after
every use, so it doesn't hog memory or steal CPU cycles.
